Dilapidated Goaso Hospital female ward renovated
The Goaso Social Club of the USA has given the Goaso Government Hospital female ward in Ahafo Region a facelift, spending over Gh¢60,000 on the ward.

The 80-year-old dilapidated Goaso Government Hospital female ward in Ahafo Region has received a facelift from the Goaso Social Club of the USA.
The renovated female ward now has all its windows, nets, furniture, isolation centre, doors in washrooms transformed and painted as well as being fitted with a television set for patients.
They also donated some mattresses and branded bedsheets to the ward.
Speaking to Sulley Dramani on behalf of the Goasoman Social Club of the USA, Mr Owusu Gorden said the Goasoman Social Club of the USA has so far spent over Gh¢60,000 on the ward.
The Acting Ahafo Regional Chief Nursing Officer, Stella Sefa while commending the Goasoman Social Club of the USA for its timely humanitarian work revealed that the Goaso Government Hospital which is Ahafo Regional hospital lacks renovation.
The Acting Asunafo North Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Yaw Osei Boahen who joined the handing over of the refurbished female ward thanked the Goasoman Social Club of the USA for helping the government to resolve the health care needs of Ahafo said development is a shared responsibility of all.
