The Employment and Labour Relations Minister Honourable Ignatius Baffour Awuah is calling on Ghanaian youth to engage in skills training to enable them get a brighter future.

In an interview with Soiree news Nana Ama Asiedu, the Minister indicated that to deal with the unemployment situation in Ghana, the youth must engage in skills training.

He said many people may not be academically good rather may be good in skills that can help them to become a better entrepreneur in life.

Honourable Baffour noted that those who are academically good after completing school are been employed by others yet people who engage in talent training sometimes depend on the proficiencies they acquire to become self-employed.

The Labour Minister advised the youth that it is time for students who are not academically good to engage themselves in skills training.
