Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke has shared a beautiful old letter he wrote for his late mother.

The DMW Boss posted the note on his official Twitter handle with the caption,

'Look what I found, sweet mother’.

In the letter, Davido said he missed his late mum’s lovely kisses, warm hugs as well as her lovely smile.

The letter reads: ”Sweet mother, how much I love you and how much love you gave to me.

''Despite my stubbornness, you are there to correct me. I miss your warm hugs, lovely kisses and your lovely smile.

''You are a rare mother. You are one in a million. You will always be on my mind. Rest in peace.”

Veronica Adeleke died on the 6th of March, 2003.

Davido has never hidden his admiration for his late mum. The image at the back of his second album, A Better Time is said to be a representation of his late mum.
