Ghanaian rapper, D-Black, has hit out at the government for asking Ghanaians who will be evacuated to pay a ridiculously high amount for their accommodation during their 14-day mandatory quarantine.

Apart from the government asking the evacuated Ghanaians to pay their flight tickets home, it has asked its citizens to pay a sum between GHC17,000 to GHC24,000 for the hotel accommodation during their brief quarantine immediately they set foot in the country.

D-Black, who is one of Ghana's leading lights on the international stage has used his position as a celebrity to call out the government on this arguing that the amount is too expensive and most of the returnees can not afford it.
