Criticize us when we go wrong - Deputy Minister Designate tells Chiefs 

Deputy Minister designates at the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, Lawyer Alfred TuahYeboah has charged traditional authorities in the country not to hesitate to criticize politicians when the need arises for the growth of Ghana.

He believes though politicians are the agent of development, however, they are expected to be directed and questioned to put them on their toes.

The Brong Ahafo Regional BAR president made this call during the inauguration of Sunyani Stakeholders for Development Association yesterday at Sunyani.

The association comprising of various stakeholders in the municipality seeking the welfare and development of the city among others is expected to rebrand the city and seek its fast growth.

Lawyer Alfred TuahYeboahtold that if chiefs fail to criticize the traditional authorities, generation yet unborn will blame them in the future. He charged the leadership of the Association and the Sunyani Municipal Assembly to insist on building developers in the Municipality to create a car park for the structures they are put up to ensure free flow of traffic in the years coming

Lawyer Alfred TuahYaboah further charged the citizenry to object developers who intend to use land demarcated for social amenities as it will pose threat to the city some years to come.

The legal luminary again charged the leadership of the association to rally behind Nananom to reclaim all vested lands as the lands Act 1030 passed by parliament last year readies to be operational anytime soon.

He said such an act if not curtailed and rejected will destroy the beauty of the Municipality charging the Association to oppose such plans by any developer.

The deputy Minister-designate is hopeful the association will leave up to expectation looking at its composition which is nonpartisan and all inclusive
