Covid-19 vaccines have nothing to do with the so-called biblical 666 - Past National Peace Council Chairman

Most Reverend Prof Emmanuel Asante told Soireenews that the Western World has been supporting Ghana and the rest of African countries through aids therefore this is not the time to ill-accuse them for something they have no idea of.

The Immediate Past National Peace Council Chairman, Most Reverend Prof Emmanuel Asante has overthrown theories linking the coronavirus vaccine to the Mark of the beast in the Bible saying,” the vaccination is intended to help us reach herd immunity.”

He utterly dismissed the scriptural interpretation assumed by some preachers and heavily advised the citizens not to be perturbed by the unfriendly evangelism of the ignorant and grab the opportunity to be protected from the coronavirus pandemic.

“I think he's a conspiracy theory,” he said.

“It has nothing to do with the so-called biblical 666, but even the 666 that people talk about what sort of interpretation, are they given to it. I mean if you go through the history of Christianity and interpretation of that very text, we’d applied it to all sorts of things and it's fizzled out.”

“As far as I'm concerned. This is a pandemic and it's not the first time that the world has experienced a pandemic but this is very severe. And once there is a pandemic something ought to be done. And normally inoculation and these vaccination and other things are intended to help us to reach herd immunity. So that we'll be able to overcome that.”

Most Reverend Prof Emmanuel Asante who was at the Manhyia Palace on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, outlined the significance of the Western world towards the globe and advanced that Africa has depended on them for survival for years therefore any machination behind the injections as made to believe by people without evidence should not be accepted.

“We keep on saying they are using this to create problems for us to change our DNA. We depend upon the west for a number of things they bring us. If they want to change your DNA, why should it be this one that they're going to use to change your DNA?

“They can use many other things to change the name that is the case, but even that is a conspiracy theory, and therefore we should not encourage that. That's what I'm coming for because I believe that we need it.”

He exposed the reason behind his vaccination at the Regional Coordinating Council that it is to demonstrate to the rest of the world and clergymen who are not in support of the exercise that their 666 message relating to the coronavirus vaccine is wrong.

“Senior clergyman and a lot of us are doing it (immunization) at other places to demonstrate to them that there is no iota of truth in the conspiracy theory that is going around and I want to advise them to desist from being a hindrance to the whole battle against the pandemic.”
