COVID-19: Nigeria's Tally Increases To 4,399 and 248 New Cases Reported

Till date, 4399 cases have been confirmed, 778 cases have been discharged and 143 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 248 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.

According to a tweet via its verified Twitter handle late Sunday evening, 15 new deaths were also recorded.

81 cases were reported in Lagos, 35 in Jigawa, 26 each in Borno & Kano, 20 in Bauchi, 13 in FCT, 12 in Edo, 10 in Sokoto and 7 in Zamfara.

 

 

4 new cases each were also reported in Kwara & Kebbi, 2 each in Gombe, Taraba, Ogun & Ekiti and 1 each in Osun & Bayelsa.

33 more recovered patients were also discharged in the last 24 hours.

No new state recorded a case of the disease. There are now 4399 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 34 states and the FCT.

So far, 778 patients have been discharged and a total of 143 deaths have been recorded.
