COVID-19: Ghana’s Case Count Spikes to 24,518; Death Toll now 139
The country has recorded 0ver 2,000 new cases in the last three updates from the GHS.
Ghana’s COVID-19 case count has increased to 24,518 as of July 12, 2020
This was confirmed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) via its official website for COVID-19 updates.
Per the recent figures, the death toll of the disease stands at 139, while the recovery count has risen to 20,187
This brings the active COVID-19 cases to 4,192.
The new cases were recorded from samples that were taken from June 17 to July 8, 2020.
Over 2,000 new cases have been recorded in the last three updates from the GHS.
