COVID-19: Ghana's Active Cases Decline to 1,325

Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases have seen a significant drop to 1,325 as of August 27, 2020.

This follows an increase in recoveries to 42,246, with death toll pegged at 270.

Ghana's overall COVID-19 case count stands at 43,841, after 73 new cases were recorded.

This was contained in a recent update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

According to the latest figures, 5 COVID-19 patients are currently in critical conditions, 14 are in severe conditions, with 3 on ventilator support.

 So far, 437,740 COVD-19 tests have been conducted in Ghana since the outbreak.
