Barcelona are in negotiation with their players over a possible wage reduction according to MARCA.

The board are in discussions with the captains of the club over a possible reduction to the players' salaries due to the economic impact of the coronavirus.

The weekend has seen conversations take place between the captains of this side to entertain this possibility.

According to reports, the reaction from the players has been positive, but no agreement has occurred with no knowledge of how long official competitions will be suspended.

This is a key point because the club's losses would only come from the termination of LaLiga Santander and the Champions League, neither of which, at this time, are guaranteed.
