Over 200,000 confirmed #COVID Cases on the African Continent - with more than 90,000 recoveries & 5,400 deaths.

Africa’s COVID-19 cases have hit and exceeded 200,000, according to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) latest report as of Wednesday, 10 June 2020.

About 90,000 people have, however, recovered, while 5,400 deaths have been recorded.

South Africa is still leading in the continent with 52,991 confirmed coronavirus cases, 29,006 recoveries, and 1,162 casualties.

Nigeria is next with 13,464 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 4,206 recoveries, and 365 fatalities.

Algeria is third, having so far recorded 10,382 coronavirus infections, 6,951 recoveries, and 724 COVID-19 related deaths.

Ghana has reported 10,201 infections, 3,755 recoveries, and 48 casualties.
