Court Issues Bench Warrant For Arrest Of Facebook King Kong Ida Boampong
Mrs. Boampong Ida was arrested in Kumasi on the 18th September, 2024 by a Private Investigator that tracked her to her hide out in Kumasi and transferred to Accra after several failed attempts by the Ghana Police.

World, a mini baby shop located at Asafo YF Street Kumasi, Mrs Ida Boampong has had another bench warrant hanging on her neck after she deliberately refused to appear in an Accra Circuit Nine to face the charge of threat of death she issued against, Mrs Ayam Atwima Mansa, the baker.

Mrs. Boampong Ida was arrested in Kumasi on the 18th September, 2024 by a Private Investigator that tracked her to her hide out in Kumasi and transferred to Accra after several failed attempts by the Ghana Police.
The suspect was charged and granted bail due to some health conditions .and warned to appear in court on the 5th November, 2024.
She however failed to appear in Accra Circuit Court Nine herself and the court, presiding over His Lordship,Mr SAMUEL BRIGHT ACQUAH ldeclined to recognize Mr. Kojo Korankye Appiah who appeared on her behalf.
Prosecuting for the state is the Assistant Suprienterdent of Police (ASP), Mr. Raymond Ackom who prayed for the court for a bench warrant be issued for the arrest of accused Ida Boampong.
According to the Prosecutor ASP RAYMOND ACKOM, the case was booked for Tuesday 5th November 2024 and the suspect’s failure to appear before the court.
He noted that action of the suspect was intentional and a total disrespect to the court
of law, and under the criminal code of law, an accused on a criminal case cannot be represented in court, therefore he appealed to the court to issue a bench warrant for the immediate arrest of the suspect.
In this regard, the court presiding over the His Lordship, Mr SAMUEL BRIGHT ACQUAH issued a bench warrant for the immediate arrest of the suspect and adjourned the case to December 4, 2024.
Speaking to the defendant, MRS AYAM ATWIMA MANSA THE BAKER, she lamented on how she met the accused through a friend in the United States of America and started purchasing kids wears from her and even referred people to her, along the line she noticed a behavior that she wasn’t happy about and decided to end the friendship for the sake of her marriage.
she stated that the suspect started to attack her on social media causing her to lose business clients, business opportunities and thinking that was not enough the accused rained insults on her, her family, and even threatened to kill her and her family, not forgetting the numerous curses by way of calling the names of many river spirits in Ghana as well as even threatening to pour acid on her, Which got her scared and she decided to involve the police.
She further explained due to Mrs Ida Boampong penchant of bullying on social media, dragging and defaming people had prompted victims of her stock in trade to contact her when the news of her arrest was in news that they are willing to testify in court against her.
MRS AYAM ATWIMA MANSA also added that the suspect was not remorseful of her actions because even after her arrest she was still insulting and dragging on her social media handles.
Mrs. Mansa concluded by saying she had faith in the Court to deliver justice on the matter.
