Former Big Brother Naija reality star, Ifuennada gave a shocking revelation this noon as she announced the increment in price of nose mask in some pharmacies in Lekki.

According to Ifuennada, who is based in Lekki, said since the announcement of the confirmation of Coronavirus in Lagos State by the minister of health, Osagie Emmanuel Ehanire, the price of nose mask has increased from N750 to N10,000 in some pharmacies in Lekki, Lagos.

The actress has expressed her fear of the possible increment of the prices of some other materials that is needed to curb the spread of the virus in the state.

She termed the increment as an illegal act, as she said they are taking advantage of the negative situation to rip people of money.

She also suggested that employers should suspend their staff, while the situation is being handled, to avoid the spread of the virus in work places.

She stated: "Since this confirmation of Coronavirus in Lagos, the price of disposable face masks has moved from 750 Naira to over 10,000 Naira in some pharmacies in Lekki.

"You can obviously tell this people are trying to make the most out of the situation, but isn't this sort of hike in price supposed to be illegal?

"How do you increase the price of something by over 1000 percent?

"What should the poor who can't afford it do? I'm sure hand Sanitizers and any other thing that can help curb coronavirus will also face inflation in price.

"Personally, as a business person, I'd not take advantage of negative situation to rip people off of money. The only time I'd increase price is when there's a significant cost of production and the increase will be a gradual process.

"Away from the above, is it advisable for one to suspend their staff while this coronavirus situation is being handled to avoid any chance of spreading the virus in work place?
