The SSNIT flats District Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has organised home skills and entrepreneurial training for women.

The event which took place at the Central Chapel of the SSNIT flats District was fully participated by about 35 women and youths. It forms part of the Church's Ministries week celebration which women have dedicated their day Tuesday for skill training.

Mrs Deborah Guessou, wife of the District pastor, also the Guest speaker and a facilitator admonished all participants to exhibit a higher level of a noble and virtuous life to take care of their homes and family.

According to her, the training was intended to help the women with business start-up ideas to complement the income of their husbands.

Deaconess Dorah Amewugah who facilitated the teaching of the Locally called Yakayake said, "this can be carried out as a business and she pleaded with all the participants to make good use of the skills gained.

The participants expressed their profound gratitude to the Church for not keeping the skills training to themselves but involving the whole membership. They were very poised to make a business out of the training and skills acquired and called on the leadership to Organise this skill training more often.

However,the leader of the women's ministry Mrs Gladys Amevor has called on all youths, to make good use of every opportunity given them.

According to her,“there are many job opportunities around us but because we have all focused our attention on the Government to be the only source of job,is really affecting us hence we must all look around us and creat our own jobs."
