Convert To Islam If You Want To Marry Me- Akuapem Poloo

Popular Ghanaian actress and socialite Akuapem Poloo have revealed that she’ll never marry a man who doesn’t practice Islam.

The actress who days has publicized her new faith in Islam made this revelation during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM

According to Akuapem Poloo, since she’s now a full Muslim, she can’t marry a man who doesn’t practice the same faith as hers.

She said, ‘’I don’t want anyone or anything to take me away from my faith, when I was a Christian no one took me away from Christianity. No Muslim told me to stop being Christian so I don’t want anyone that will come and tell me to stop being Muslim.’’

The mother of one shared thoughts on her former faith, ‘’I’m not saying Christianity is not good because I’ve tested it and when I was there, they supported me. Christians supported me they pushed me this far in my career. Both Christians and Muslims supported but this Islam is what I have chosen’’.

Addressing the reports that she converted to Islam because of a rich Alhaji who wants to marry her, Akuapem Polorongly denied the rumors.

She explained that she converted to Islam because of the faith and love she has for the religion and not necessarily because of a man as speculated in the media.

News of Poloo’s conversion was welcomed with some level of doubt with some netizens suggesting she’s just messing with her fans to generate attention as she has always been known for.
