Contractor abandons Sampa to Duadaso road, resident, drivers call for immediate intervention

The construction of Sampa to Duadaso has been stalled after the contractor working on the road abandoned the project and moved all equipment from the site after the 2020 general elections.
Some drivers who ply Sampa to Duadaso road expressed frustration due to the deplorable state of the road.
They said the deplorable state of the road has been causing damage to their cars, causing them financial loss as they are compelled to change their parts on regular basis.
Some of the residents who also ply the road expressed worry over the poor nature of the road and the lack of access roads in Sampa Township.
They are therefore pleading with the Jaman North DCE and the Member of Parliament for the area to come to their aid by instructing the contractor to come to the site to complete the work to ensure their safety.
