Contractor abandons Bediako-Kasapin road after election - Assembly Member
Abandoned road

The Bediako-Kasapin road which was awarded to Kofi Job Company Limited has been abandoned after the 2020 general elections according to the Apenkro Assemblymember,

Solomon Adoko wants the residents to blame the contractor and not the government.

This comes after beneficiary communities in a press conference blamed the government for the poor state of roads in the area.

But responding to this to Soiree News Nana Ama Asiedu, Mr Solomon Adoko argued that government is not to blame since the road was awarded to Mr Kofi Job. He wants the communities to rather question the contractor instead of the government.

Solomon Adoko said all efforts to get the contractor back to the site has yielded no good result.

He lambasted the contractor for shoddy work on the said road which he indicated has created dangerous cracks and holes killing and injuring many in accidents. Mr Adoko observed that local contractors are fond of shoddy work and called on them to sit up.
