The Ashanti Regional Health Director has also appreciated the efforts of the Ghanaian government in the area of Health.

The Ashanti regional health Director, Dr Emmanuel Tenkorang has commended the region on its current state of health.

He said although Greater Accra is doing very well when it comes to health, the Ashanti region must be applauded on its current performance.

Dr Emmanuel Tenkorang revealed that despite the existence of COVID-19 which a lot of money has been spent in curbing the pandemic, the government has put in place measures for the completion of some district hospitals.

The Director is happy over the completion of Tepa, Bekwai, and Konongo public hospitals which is ready to serve the good people of Ghana.

He stressed that the good people of Fomena in the Adanse North district in the Ashanti region will soon withness a completion of their government hospital, which a lot of people for some time now has to criticize the president for failing to complete and hand over for use.

In an engagement with Yaw Opoku soiree news correspondent, he cited that, measures are putting in place for people in the Ashanti region to have access to quality health care.
