The Residents of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East have urged the government of Ghana led by President Akufo-Addo to deploy more security personnel like soldiers and if possible establish military Barracks to reduce crime.

According to them, Kasoa environs like Liberia camp, Kasoa Zongo, and some others are very dangerous places the government must deploy soldiers to fight numerous crimes.

Kasoa has been in the news in recent times due to the heinous crimes that are been committed in the area.

Speaking to SN24 News, the Kasoa residents bemoaned that the only way crime can be combatted is to beef up security, thus build Barracks in Kasoa.

The natives said they are in strong fear since their families could also fall victims to assassinators.

They are therefore calling on President Akufo-Addo to close down Kasoa Police station and construct military Barracks in order to live in peace because the rate of crime in the area is beyond police control.
