Manchester City have not made any offer to Lionel Messi.

The Premier League leaders have been dormant this time in the Lionel Messi transfer saga as compared to the summer where the Argentine made bold claims of his intentions to leave the Blaugranas.

Sky Sports report that the spokesperson for both the Etihad club and Messi has denied any offers and the 33-year old will decide where to play when the season finally ends.

Lionel Messi’s contract with Barcelona will end in June and the player is eligible to negotiate with any team of his choice, with Pep Guardiola’s side and Paris Saint Germain favourites to secure the signature of the forward.

Although Messi has resettled at the Nou Camp since he demanded to leave the Blaugranas last summer but the player has not hit his usual peak. His attitude on the pitch is an indication that his time at Camp Nou is finished and wants to welcome a new environment.
