Christiana Awuni, Bridget Otoo, don’t understand democracy - NPP’s Afia Akoto

Maame Afia Akoto has condemned those who berated the actors that campaigned for Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency against John Dumelo.
Kalybos, Prince David Osei, Bismark the Joke, Cwesi Oteng and actress Bibi were spotted campaigning for the NPP in the Ayawaso West NPP campaign trail.
The celebrities were immediately the subject of fierce criticism from major industry players.
Veteran actress, Christiana Awuni expressed her displeasure at their actions for going against one of their own. She said that she feels ashamed of every single one of her colleagues that joined the campaign and that nothing justifies their actions of campaigning against their direct colleague.
Bridget Otoo also weighed in on the issue, as she pointed out that the entertainers in question made a 'daft move', especially when the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, while campaigning for NPP PC, Lydia Alhassan on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Ayawaso West Wuogon, had stated that actors and entertainers have no place in Parliament business.

Maame Afia Okoto has now rubbished the claims of the critics.
The Deputy Communication Director of the New Patriotic church Party (NPP) stated that the people criticising the entertainers for campaigning against John Dumelo have the 'weakest understanding of democracy'.
She then referred to when Vice President, Dr Mahamdu Bawumia campaigned against his brother-in-law, Ramadan Adamu Muhammed at Adenta.
“Those chastising the artists that went to Ayawaso West Wuogon to campaign with Maa Lydia Alhassan have the weakest understanding of democracy and should focus where their strength is."
