Angry Chiefs and residents of Gomoa Mangoase in Gomoa Central of the Central Region are lamenting over the lack of hospitals in the area which has made accessing health facilities difficult.

According to them, many are losing their lives through the lack of hospital facilities in the area with over four thousand population without even a CHPS compound.

The community has managed to build their own Community-Health-Planning-and-Services facility but need the government's support to complete it.

Speaking with some angry residents in  Mangoase, their life is at risk since they can not have access to any health facilities in the area when they are sick, especially pregnant woman who lose their lives most of the times.

They have, therefore, appealed to the Member of Parliament of the Area, Hon Naana Eyiah as matter of urgency to come to their aid because people are losing their lives due to the lack of hospital facilities in the area, especially at the night.

The Chief of Gomoa Mangoase in the Gomoa Central in the Central Region, Nana Ogyafo Amoako II also lamented to the media on how worse the situation is affecting them.

According to him, the assistance of the government to make their CHPS compound a reality will transform the standard of living in the community.
