Chelsea will still be without England’s Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva, who joined their new teammates on Wednesday, and injured Morocco midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

Christian Pulisic will is expected to return after an impressive performance against the Reds last season at Anfield.

The Blues will welcome the Champions at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as they seek to secure their second victory in the Premier League.

Frank Lampard won his first game last Monday in a 3-1 scoreline against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex.Liverpool recorded a 4-3 victory at Anfield on Saturday against a resilient Leeds United side and the two sides will lock horns at the Bridge in their second PL fixture of the new season.

The Reds secured a home and away victory in the Premier League against Chelsea last season and would be looking forward to building on that.

Jurgen Klopp reported no new fitness concern ahead of the game on Sunday.

“Intense week. A few little things here and there but in the moment should be OK,” Klopp explained at his pre-match press conference.

“Nobody is coming back or whatever, and the rest we have to see. So, still, two days to go – two training sessions – but for the moment, we seem OK.”
