Chelsea: "He’s Perfect Striker" – Aubameyang Demanded By Tuchel
Thomas Tuchel is said to be pushing hard for Todd Boehly to sign former Arsenal captain Aubameyang, but an offer has yet to be made.
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, is pushing co-owner Todd Boehly to bring in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona this summer.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Romano tweeted, “Thomas Tuchel is pushing with Todd Boehly to sign Pierre Aubameyang as he’s considered perfect striker – but Barcelona have not received an official proposal yet.
“Chelsea are considering Auba as an option as revealed last week.”
Aubameyang only joined Barca in January, after his contract with the Gunners was terminated.
Tuchel is more desperate than ever to bolster his attacking options.
This follows the return of Timo Werner to RB Leipzig this week on a permanent deal. Romelu Lukaku already left for Inter Milan on a one-year loan.
However, Chelsea's primary target remains Leicester's Wesley Fofana and they are said to be ready to offer a world-record fee for the center-back.
