Ghana’s Dancehall Artiste, Stonebwoy has defined Charter House as selfish and do not care about the well-being of Ghanaian musicians.

In a twitter post on Thursday, February 13, 2019, Stonebwoy revealed based on Charterhouse refusal to overturn their ban and calling on Ghana’s media to flourish without him and fellow artiste, Shatta Wale.

“May I conclude that @CharterhouseGH DOES NOT Have The Interest Of Ghanaian Musicians and Ghana Music At Heart. With All Due Respect ) #MrsTeresa I’m Disappointed!! Calling On Ghana Media To Help You Quench Our Careers Is A Very Low Blow.. #BhimGovernment,” he tweeted.

The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) witnessed an unpredictable bout of violence between the camps of Dancehall artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale and the two were suspended with no further communication from Charterhouse to recall them.

According to the Chief Executive of Charterhouse, Theresah Ayoade at a press conference, the company was “taken aback” by the behavior of Shatta Wale during the 20th edition of the event, which brought proceedings to a temporal halt and put the image of their brand into disrepute. She therefore called on the media to do away with the two and move on.

An expression of disappointment was conveyed by Stonebwoy explaining the CEO’s words as ‘below belt.”
