Charitable Fellows Foundation Donates Stationaries to Adzato RC Basic Schools

Charitable Fellows Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in the Keta Municipality has donated some teaching and learning materials to the Adzato R.C Basic School in the Anloga District of the Volta Region.
The items worth over GHS 3,000.00 including some teaching materials, exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, dictionaries for their library among others.
The donation, according to the organizers, is to mark the NGO's 3rd Anniversary Celebration and the National Volunteer Day which fell on September 21, 2021.
Members of the foundation also used the opportunity to educate the pupils on the importance of education to them as pupils, their families, the community, the district, the region, and Ghana as a whole.
The headmaster of the school Mr Wonder Atukpa expressed gratitude to members of the foundation for the initiative as he called on the government and other NGOs to emulate what Charitable Fellows Foundation has done.
He promised the group that all materials given to the school would be put to good use and also kept well.
However, Mr Atukpa lamented about the inadequate staff strength in the school and further appealed to the government and Ghana Education Service to post teachers to the school.
A student, Emmanuel Shikka, indicated that the donation was timely since some parents could not afford exercise books and other materials for their wards since schools reopened.
The Parent and Teachers Association (PTA) Chairman, School’s Management Committee (SMC) Chairman, and other members of the School Management team thanked the foundation and prayed that they continue the good works they are doing.
