Tension Brews In Nyamoah Nkwanta After Chief Escapes Land-guards Assassination

Information emanating from Awutu Nyamoah Nkwanta in Awutu senya west district of the central region indicates that the Odikro of Nyamoah Nkwanta Nana Nyamoah ll has escaped assassination by some notorious landguards in his private residence.

According to the Odikro of Nyamoah Nkwanta, his life is at risk after an attempt by some notorious landgurds to assassinate him at his late residence this afternoon.

Soireenews in an interview with the chief stated that the notorious landgurds who attack him were numbering up to four who were hiding around his house starting opening gunfire on him after returning to town.

He, therefore, has appealed to the inspector general of police and Awutu Ofaakor district police command to arrest the perpetrators and put them before the book.

Also, this is not the first time unknown languages has to attack him trying to kill him, he has reported it to the ofaakor police several times but no arrest has been then and today could come in before Ghanians will hear bad news from Awutu Nyamoah Nkwanta.

Meanwhile the Omankrado of the area Nana Afful l also expressed worries about recent rampant landgurds attacks and activities in the area.

He has called on the Ofaakor district police command to act quickly on these landgurds attacks in the area.

Some residents who spoke to Soireenews hinted that fear and panic have gripped them due to rampant landguards activities in the area.

They have therefore appealed to GP to beef up security in the area to combat landgurads activities in the area.
