At the Kwamankese Traditional Council's 4th Annual General Meeting held at his palace, the Chief enlisted the successive governments of both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regarding their ill-treatment received from the two parties towards the Kwamankese enclave based on development over the past years.

He noted that the politicians whenever they embark on donating items or executing any developmental project, they usually do it in the name of the entire District which in the long run affects the Kwamankese township and they are periodically left out in such major projects within AAK District.

Addressing some delegated members by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Willi Evans Obiri Awuah and its Member of Parliament (MP) Honourable Elvis Morris Donkoh to represent them at the council meeting, he plead with them to centre the town on their developmental agenda as the town is struggling in terms of development as compared to other towns in the district.

Adontehen for the Kwamankese Traditional Council, Nana Nyarko Papagu Mensah VI who concurrently serves as the Vice President to Okakaben Idun Andoh at the Council talked about some unfulfilled promises made to the Council by these politicians and their predecessors out of frustration spilt out to the delegated party members that, politicians within the area over the years seems unconcern over issues about the development of the area and seems very quick to dispose of off such matters to the bin, hence they must speed up their game to bring transformation to the town.
