Andy Dosty has maintained that Celestine Donkor's new track "Thank You" is not being played because the artiste has not paid DJ's to play her song.

Contrary to the artiste's claim that the song is not being played because she featured secular artistes, Andy Dosty has said no such thing is going on in the music scene.

He made this clear an interview with Caleb Nii Boye on Star FM.

According to him, the process is straightforward; pay payola and your songs get played, no two ways about it.

Celestine Donkor had taken to rant on Facebook earlier that her new track was not being played on Christian channels because she featured many secular artistes.

The Gospel artiste argued that the fastest way to gain more audience is to employ Secular artistes, who have a large fan base that would not listen to gospel songs on a normal day.

She labelled the actions of the media channels as primitive.

"Hmm... It surprises me that at such age and times we are in, some people still live with such primitive way of thinking. This is really sad and a disappointment for the purpose of the gospel."

"WELL, I WANT TO USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TELL THE WORLD THAT MY GOSPEL MUSIC IS NOT FOR “SELF ACCLAIMED RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE,” IT IS FOR ALL WHO NEED THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL TO BLESS THEIR LIVES."

"For those who think they are in the position to judge others, I guess one of these days, God has to get up from his throne so you can go and sit on it and judge since you know how to judge better.. right.?" She said.

Andy Dosty has now made it clear that she has it wrong.

if she does the needful, her song will be played, he assured.
