Ghanaian actress, Ama K Abebrese, has called on her colleagues to massively boycott Accra FM over the continuous "unprofessional behavior" of their Midmorning Show host, Nana Romeo.

She has called for this immediate action after Nana Romeo treated Wendy Shay disrespectfully on his show by asking derogatory questions concerning her sexual affairs. This has come after the same disrespected and sacked fast rising artiste, KiDi on his show.

The actress, who also doubles as a television presenter and knows a thing or two about TV ethics with regards to professional behavior, stated that Nana Romeo's actions do not follow the laid down codes of conduct.

Calling on actors, musicians, and all other individuals in the creative arts space to decline interview invitations by the station, she used her tweets as a war cry for celebrities against TV stations that have taken it upon themselves to disrespect her and colleagues.

Ama K Abebrese asked if Nana Romeo has been paid by the station to deliberately unsettle his guests.

"Does that Accra FM presenter get paid to intimidate/be rude to guests? Or he just wants trend? Very unprofessional and totally unacceptable. As a host, you can ask questions, however, it doesn't mean a guest has to answer silly questions. Mutual Respect is a must. Utter Nonsense" she fumed.

Concluding that only a massive boycott can make Accra FM to reevaluate their priorities, she vehemently called out Nana Romeo's behaviour. She wrote:

"He is very unprofessional. All musicians, actors, artists etc should decline to go to that station for interviews. Then as a media organisations they will know their value. We need each other but not if the media organization allows hosts to behave in such manner."
