Many caterers in the Akuapem North Constituency are said to have lost their school feeding job through verbal termination of their contracts.

The move has led to a daily clash on duty, a situation that has persisted for the past week.

One of the caterers, Madam Gifty, a popular NPP delegate established in an interview with SN24 News that another NPP sympathizer had indeed been instructed to take over her school feeding job at the Presbyterian Basic Primary A at Mampong, a community in the Akuapem North Constituency of Eastern Region.

She revealed that caterers are over 20 party delegates and therefore do not understand why their contracts should be terminated when they have pre-financed the feeding program for more than four months.

She bewailed that most of them are being hunted by their creditors meanwhile the government is yet to pay their salaries.

"My creditors are chasing me every day, meanwhile the government hasn’t paid my salary. I simply won’t sit and watch people take away what I have worked for over the years. I will do everything possible to keep myself in the business.” She added.

The caterers however have called on the regional executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party to intervene before the situation gets worse.
