The Canadian government has refuted claims that Kenyans can now enter the country in search of employment.

Canada denies welcoming Kenyans for jobs

Following Tuesday's news that Kenyans would soon be permitted to move to Canada and live or work there, foreign minister of Kenya Alfred Mutua made this statement.

In a meeting with Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship of Canada (IRCC) Sean Fraser, Mr. Mutua, who was in the nation on an official visit, the two men agreed on the numerous migration prospects.

He claimed that applying to move to Canada was a straightforward process that called for diligence.

There is false information spreading that claims Kenyan immigrants are being welcomed through special initiatives. This is untrue, and the mentioned immigration programs don't exist, according to an IRCC statement.

The IRCC advised Kenyans to check the nation's immigration website for accurate information on how to immigrate to Canada.
