Campaigns against Alan Kyerematen back fires.
Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen

Sources close to the Trade and Industry Minister,  Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has called on the general public and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to disregard news making headlines on the various social media platforms and internet suggesting that, the NPP's presidential hopeful, resigned from the Akufo Addo led government as a minister.

According to the report,  Mr. Kyerematen has tendered in his resignation letter effective December 1, 2021, citing Nana Ohene Ntow as the source.

The news according to the staunch Alan supporters is a complete hoax intended to damage Mr. Kyerematen's character and goodwill for which many people regard him as the NPP’s favorite for 2024.

“Fake news”, they described the report.

They further denied  other news circulating on the internet that the Trade and Industry Minister has resigned from NPP due to ill health and has been flown out of the country for medical treatment.

This follows his absence from the public scene in recent days.

However, sources close to the Minister have disclosed that Mr. Kyerematen is out of the country for personal reasons.

The sources categorically state that the Minister is healthy and remains an inherent member of the party.

In days past,  it was reported that the astute leader has resigned from the Akufo-Addo led administration as a minister, which was also a complete lie.

Mr. Kyerematen has been tipped as the NPP's favorite for 2024 and presidential hopeful.
