Calm has been restored at the Kumasi Girls' Senior High School after a misunderstanding between students and authorities that led to the injury of many girls.

The students who were being controlled by a joint military and police after protesting against school authorities' orders, blamed the security forces for allegedly assaulting most of them to the degree of injuries.

The girls who had been asked to stay in by school authorities upon a directive by the Ghana Health Service protested and destroyed many properties in the school.

This in turn led to the invitation of security personnel to control the misfortune, but unfortunately, many students who sustained various degrees of injuries blamed the security forces for brutalising them with offensive materials, leading to their injuries.

Meanwhile, the police in a press statement has denied the allegation, indicating that no student was assaulted as alleged in the media space.

Soireenews confidently reveals that the school has remained calm as students remain on campus.
