Mr Senyo Dzanku Franklin, assistant manager of the Remar Ghana children Home thanked Mr Frederick Odartey Nortey for his kind gesture and called on other institutions and leaders to come and support them.

A businessman, Mr Frederick Odartey Nortey has marked his 41st Birthday with Orphans at the Remar Ghana children Home in Ho.

According to him, he decided to mark his birthday which falls on his day of birth. He told that Wednesday is a day of memory and blessing and it's his delight not just to make merry but share and donate to the less privileged.

Mr Frederick Odartey Nortey who spoke to Soireenews shared his life experiences after he lost his parents though he is old and have his own family, it is never easy to lose your guardians most importantly one's mother.

He lamented on the fact that though some parents after giving birth neglect them without providing them with shelter or the needs of their children, it is necessary children don't take their parents for granted especially their mothers.

He applauded responsible parents and single mothers for the good work they are doing and asked them to continue.

He enlightened that the act will be a covenant between him and God to protect his family, children, friends and anybody close to him.

Mr Frederick Odartey Nortey thanked the management of Remar Ghana children Home for the good work they are doing in taking care of the less privileged and needy.

He finally challenged and appealed to the public and other organizations to come on board and support the needy not necessarily on their birthdays.

Some of the items he donated were bags of rice, bags of bean, two cartons of indomie, groundnut paste, a bag of Gari among others.

Receiving the items donated, Mr Senyo Dzanku Franklin who is the assistant manager of the Remar Ghana children Home, thanked Mr Frederick Odartey Nortey for his kind gesture and called on other institutions and leaders to come and support them.

According to him, they currently have about 20 children under their care.

Accompanying Mr Frederick Odartey Nortey was Mr Ganya and some members of “Brothers Be This Association" to mark this memorable day.
