Burna Boy, a stage name for Damini Ogulu, a Nigerian musician, has retaliated against Nigerians who have criticized him for remaining silent and not casting a ballot during the election.
After Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido remained silent and withheld the names of the respective presidential candidates they supported, some Nigerians took over their accounts.
Burna Boy, who has received criticism from his admirers, appears to have lost his cool as he responds to them. The artist claims he has never benefited from government assistance and doesn't see a reason to cast a ballot.
He stated on his Instagram story that he has never received any of his money from the Nigerian government and that he has never accepted a house, land, or money in any other form from a governor. As a result, he does not swear allegiance to any particular government.
