The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth of Buoho in the Afigya Kwabre South have denied reports from their camp against the District Chief Executive, Honorable Adu Poku Christian reproaching him of underperforming since his appointed by the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.

The Group have dissociated themselves from a press conference organized by the Concerned Youth of Buoho and disowned that there is no such association, exposing that involved persons are “known NDC executives in our town.”

The group have, therefore “called on the general public to ignore all the lies the so-called group peddled at their press conferences.”

Speaking to Soireenews on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, the Polling Station Chairman of Buoho - the Point, Nicholas Amoah asserted that the District Chief Executive’s continuity of office is a threat to the National Democratic Congress in 2024 due to his personal allegiance towards the progress of the Afigya Kwabre South hence their ploys to disrupt his reputation.

He explained that Honorable Christian played a key role in the NPP’s massive victory in the December 7 elections and so the opposition party “have teamed up with some recalcitrant members of our party who supported the independent candidate, who ultimately did not contest in the 2020 general elections to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of our DCE.”

The Group have therefore called on the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to maintain their ‘hardworking DCE” to continue his work and have further appealed to the public to disregard all the “lies and propaganda spewed at the press conference organized by the non-existent group.”
