BudgIT Ghana Research Team Holds Stakeholders Engagement ---To Present Its Research Findings And Recommendation On COVID-19 Vaccine Equity At Health Accountability

The BudgIT Ghana Research Team has organized a comprehensive stakeholders engagement to present Its research findings and recommendation on coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine equity at health accountability.
The organization has presented its second end of coronavirus (COVID-19 ) Transparency and Accountability Projects, under the theme; "Stakeholders’ Role in Boosting Health Sector Accountability and Battling Vaccine Misinformation in Ghana"
Speaking in an interview with some senior journalists, the Communication Lead for BudgIT Ghana stressed, BudgIT Ghana has held a coalition meeting with Stakeholders from various sectors.
The sectors, according to him, included "Ghana health Service, Nuguchi Memoral, Covid-19 Trust Fund, among others.
She pointed out that her outfit has used the engagement to interact with a wide range of
the professionals, partners, and citizens and that they discussed issues with Health Sector Accountability, Vaccine Equity and its hesitancy.
Earlier, the President of Centre for Employment for Person's With Disabilities, Mr. Alex Kojo Tettey, used the opportunity to call on government to engage persons with Disabilities in the policy making plans to ensure persons living with disability have all the opportunity to be part of building an inclusive society.
On his Part, the Ghana Health Service Vaccine Safety Focal Point Officer, Dr. Nariru Tanko Mohammed commended Budget Ghana for its research to bring their findings and recommendations and promised they will see through and work on it.
He admitted the failure of its part as an institution of Health service delivery for Persons With Disabitlities, that is not engaging any sign language People to translation for them.
The BudgIT Ghana is a civic organization that applies technology to ensure transparency and accountability on health sectors and institutions.
