According to him,Ghana's economic transformation and development requires the manpower skills of  graduates who has completed various universities to turn things around hence the need for graduates to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired to solved the challenges facing the country

The Minister of Education, Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum has advised graduates to apply the skills they've acquired from the various institutions to help transform the country. 

According to him,Ghana's economic transformation and development requires the manpower skills of graduates who has completed various universities to turn things around hence the need for graduates to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired to solved the challenges facing the country 
He stressed that graduants should always strive forward and create jobs and not always be a job seekers since they have received practical and knowledgeable skills to create thier own work.
Dr Adutwum made this remarks on a speech read on his behalf by Dr. Yayra Dzakadzie director in charge of tertiary education at the ministry of education during the 14th congregation ceremony of university of mines and technology (UMaT) at Tarkwa in the Tarkwa Insuaem municipality of the western region 
The Vice Chancellor of University of Mines and Technology Professor Richard Akwasi Amankwa said the university of mines and technology has added some form of advancement in their interactions with their student to help them solve problems in the community to assist in nation-building.
He urged the graduants to make good use of the knowledge and skills to solved the challenges in thier communities.
Former minister of railways development and member of parliament for Esikado Ketan constituency Hon Joe Ghartey who received an honouring award for his selfless efforts to established the railway school for development.
He stressed that the nation can developed if there is a cordial relationship between the public and private sector to be able to work in hard and bridge the gap between industries and academia to solved our problems.
