Bribery Allegations Against Me Was Baseless With No Facts - Abu Jinapor

The Member of Parliament for Damango and President's ministerial nominee for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abdulai Jinapor has told the Appointment Committee of Parliament, allegations of bribery against him by A-Plus were baseless with no facts.

This came to light today Wednesday 24 February 2021 when the nominee appeared before the appointment committee for vetting and was asked by the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu to tell the Committee about the issues raised against him by A-PLUS.

Mr. Samuel Abdulai Jinapor told the Committee, that the Commission of Human Right and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) has thoroughly investigated the matter therefore all those corruption, thievery, and abuse of power it was speculations.

He handed a report from Commission for Human Right and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) dated 4/12/ 2017 with reference number CHRAJ\332\2017\ 414 which was titled, in the matter of the Commission of Human Right Administrative Justice and in a matter of allegations of corruption, thievery, and abuse of power between DYNAMIC YOUTH MOVEMENT OF GHANA who was the complainant, MR SAMUEL A.JINAPOR and MR FRANCIS ASENSIO BOAKYE who are also the respondents to the Chairman of the appointment committee, Mr. Joseph Osei Owusu as a form of records and evidence to prove to the committee that, indeed the case has been determined by CHRAJ.

Mr. Samuel Abdulai Jinapor used the opportunity to tell Ghanaians and the World at large to ignore those bribery allegations which were leveled against him and Mr. Francis Asenso Boakye during their previous position at the Presidency were false after one of the State investigative body (CHRAJ) had done its work on the matter.
