Breaking news Update. Awutu Breku district court remanded a 22-year-old man who allegedly killed Okada riders for money rituals.

It is recalled that 22-year-old boy Mawunya Francis has been arrested by the Awutu Bereku District Police Command while his accomplice is at large for allegedly killing 18-year-old Okada Rider Kwabena Ogyam for rituals.
Information gathered indicates, that Mawunya and his friend hired a Kwabena Ogyam Okada rider from Awutu Bontrase to Mfadwen but allegedly killed him and took his motor away including the dead body.
Awutu Bereku District Police Command fired three warning shots yesterday night to disperse the crowd after the angry residents storm the police station to demand the suspect lynched.
In an interview with soireenews, the father deceased or missing boy, Kwame Darko revealed the suspects told their friends that, they will kill somebody for rituals and use that money to buy a heavy car before the 2022 Awutu Awubia Festival.
Meanwhile, some of the Okada Riders called on Police to come to their aid because criminals are killing their colleagues.
For the follow-up story of the case, the Awutu Breku district court sitting by her worship, Madam Naomi Kuntour has remanded the boy to Ankaful prison for three weeks for further investigation to arrest the other suspect who has run away.
