Breaking: More than 30 Islamic students traumatized after police shooting.

Students were protesting today on the streets of Abrepo to voice out their grievances concerning drivers' knockdown of students due to over speeding

More than thirty (30) students of the Islamic senior high school in Kumasi are battling with their life after police fired gunshots through crowded pupils.

Information gathered by soireenews indicates that the students were protesting today on the streets of Abrepo to voice out their grievances concerning drivers' knockdown of students due to over speeding on the road which links Abrepo to some environs of Kumasi.

Students say, more than 10 students have been knocked down within a month on the road in question which is in front of the school that Links major Kumasi roads. 

But, as the students proceed with the demonstration, the police approached them and started firing gunshots which as a result have rendered scores of students traumatized.

The students have been taken to hospitals to seek urgent medical attention.

Currently, more thanat0 students of the Islamic senior high school pupils have beto admitted to hospitals seeking medical attention.

However, police say life ammunition wasn't used to disburse the crowd, but life bullets had been s n on the scene indicating that live bullets were used by the police.

Although no casualties have been recorded.
