Boy's anus pierced with cane for alleged stealing

A boy has been pierced with a cane through his anus by some persons at Agogo in the Asante Akyem North District in the Ashanti Region.

The victim, Enoch who is 16-years of age was accused of stealing money by suspects; Francis Obeng 79 years, Osei Bonsu, 53 years, Boakye Danquah, 65 years, Kwasi Marfo, 24 years and Kofi Asadu, 29 years. They took the laws into their hands to insert a cane in the anus whiles he screamed for help.

Speaking to the victim's mother, Adwoa Operebea 50 years, she told that they tied his son and sprinkled pepper on the cane and they inserted it in the boy’s anus. The victim is now at the Asante Akyem Agogo Government Hospital awaiting to be operated.

 "I was on my way to the farm when a woman approached to inform me of the ordeal my son went through. I was told he has been dumped at a nearby cemetery and we began a search for three days but couldn't find him," the mother of the child said.

"Another person came to me yesterday and informed me that he has been harbouring the child after he came across him crying for help. My son was taken to the Police Station before being admitted for treatment."

The suspects are now in Police Custody at Agogo Asante Akyem.
