Bosome Freho Assembly Members Declare War Against DCE Armed Bodyguards
AGGRIEVED Assembly Members in Bosome  Freho District of the Ashanti Region have called on the Ashanti Region Police Commander to help arrest and prosecute all the six armed bodyguards of the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Yaw Danso to serve as deterrent to others.

According to them, it has become necessary for the police to arrest the armed bodyguards of the DCE because there were envidences that they had caused the mayhem during Assembly's meeting on June, 19, 2022 in their Assembly Hall, resulting to massive destruction of the Assembly's properties.
"We the Assembly members of the district are pleading with the Ashanti Region Police Commander to help arrest all the six armed bodyguards who were at the scene on the day of the incident," they stressed.

At a crowded press conference today, which was addressed by Mr Boachie De-graft Maxwell, they stated that they had threatened to stop attending Assembly meetings because they cannot put their lives in danger.
Consequently, they called for the dismissal of all the people the DCE has appointed to replace those who were appointed by the Traditional Council and four others in the District.
They also requested that the motor bikes given to the six people appointed by the DCE are giving back to the Assembly Members.
According to the Assembly Members, the damages occurred as a result of the members trying to pass vote of no confidence in the DCE who showed up at the meeting with about six armed bodyguards when he was to answer some questions emanating from the Assembly Members at the Assembly's Assembly Hall on the 19th June,2022.
Mr Boachie De-graft Maxwell stated that the Assembly Members have replaced all the items they caused damage to and are looking forward to avoid such incident in the coming days if any.
