Bore-hole Drillers Associations of Ghana Suspends Operations Over Cost Of Materials.

The Foreign Bore-Hole Drilling Companies in Ghana both India and China specifically have suspended their operation in Ghana due to the fuel pricing and dollar exchange rate to the cedis.

According to them, the high cost of operational materials has necessitated their suspension and we are getting into the dry season because of the cost involved in the purchase of the materials, they are not going to drill numerous bore-holes to help the people of Ghana since their old charges cannot be maintained.

The association is pleading with Ghanaians to bear with them because prices of their drilling materials keep skyrocketing and said the old price for a complete bore-hole was Ghc12,000.00 which includes pump installation.

They explained that as of now the pump that, they use to buy at the cost of Ghc 900.00 is now Ghc1900.00 which is very pathetic to their business and not that one alone, they also buy drilling Hammers, rods, and even hydraulic oils to make their work complete.

Adding that, if caare is not taking its business will turn into total, bankruptcy and call on the people of Ghana. to be with them so that their business will not collapse.

They are now on the table to fix a determined price from Gh12,000.00 to Gh24,000 to providing provide quality services to the people of Ghana.
