Bono Regional Minister Commends Catholic Church for their Contributions Towards National Development. 

The Regional Minister urged the Catholic Church to continue its responsibility to complete the effort of the government.

The Bono Region Minister, Justina Owusu Banahene has commended the Catholic Church for its contribution to national development.

According to her, the Catholic Church over the years apart from the spiritual aspect has also contributed immensely to education, health, business, and others to support the society.

The Regional Minister made this statement at the Episcopal Conference Phase of the Synod on Synodality in Sunyani under the theme, "Communion, Participation, and Mission."

The Regional Minister urged the Catholic Church to continue its responsibility to complete the effort of the government.

The Catholic Bishop of Sunyani Diocese Most. Rev. Mathew Kwesi Gyemfi stated that the church will continue to play its role as the church to increase its evangelism to win souls for Christ.

The President of Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference Most. Rev. Philip Naameh also urged the church members to be vigilant at church service these days because of those people attacking the church and must also report any suspicious act of terrorism to the police.
