Bono East United benefit from Mikam Foundation

The Chief Executive of Bono East United, Kwaku Acheampong, on behalf of the team, thank MIKAM Foundations for the donation and promised to make good use of the money given to them.

MIKAM Foundations has donated a total of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 10,000.00) to Bono East United.

The Foundation which is under the auspices of the Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Honourable Martin Agyei-Mensah donated the said amount to the Techiman, Nkwayeso based team to financially strengthen them as they compete in this season's Division 2 league with the hope of seeking qualification into the Division 1 league.

The donation took place at the premises of Radio Link and the money was presented to the Management of Bono East United by the Administrator of MIKAM Foundations who doubles as the Accountant of Radio Link, Mr Benjamin Taylor.

Mr Benjamin Taylor, reveals that the MIKAM Foundations is a humanitarian foundation with its focused set on uplifting the livelihood of all and sundry.

According to him, the foundation will keep in touch with the football team to lend a helping hand whenever the need arises.

He encouraged the Management and playing body of Bono East United to fight for glory in Division 2 since they have the full backing of the people of Techiman including the Member of Parliament, Hon Martin Agyei-Mensah.

Nkwayeso Assembly Member, Hon Kwame Jacob, who accompanied the Management of the Team, expressed his gratitude to Hon Martin Agyei-Mensah Korsah and the MIKAM Foundations for such generous donations.

He revealed that the people of Nkwayeso in their own way have been benefiting from Bono East United hence the need for him being their Assembly Member and the residents at the electoral area to rally their support behind the team.

He disclosed that the Management of the team is putting measures in place to qualify for next season's Ghana Division 1 league.

As Oliver Twist always asks for more, Hon Osei Kwame Jacob humbly appealed to the MIKAM Foundations to always keep their doors open as the team will be needing more support from them.
