BJet Sports Consult LTD unveils a soccer Talent hunt To unearth talents from the hinterland

Sports inclined talented individuals from the hinterland and around the country will have the opportunity to showcase their talents as  BJET Sports Consult LTD unveils a soccer talent hunt project.
Aimed at offering talented young boys and girls the platform to be nurtured through a newly launched weekly show on TV 3.

In a speech delivered by the Project Coordinator, Mrs. Abdul  Ganiyu Sabira at the Ohene Gyan Sports Stadium explained the modalities of the talent hunt project.

She said the concept was conceived to discover soccer talents located far away in the rural areas and those within the urban cities.

"Having traveled to almost every corner of Ghana and seen the talent in abundance, this project is simply designed to achieve three main aims;

1.  To identify talented players in every district both rural and urban parts of the country making them stars and mentoring them into professionals.

2. Producing players for the national teams of Ghana.

3. Creating a wealth of players for their communities and Ghana as a whole", she explained.

But She added that the players to be registered and be scouted must have been between the ages of 14 to 23 years.

"There have been many soccer talent recruitments in the country but this particular one is very much different in so many ways;

1. The players will register through a USSD code in the comfort of their homes in all 254 districts.

2. The scouts will scout outside their regions of residence and work.

3.No scout will scout a player twice during the 4 stages of scouting.

4. Selected players do not have to change clubs to take part in the project.

5. Players who are successful after trials will be transferred from their mother clubs if any.

6 . International Club scouts will visit the academy house weekly to do their assessment.

7. Player movement abroad shall not be hindered because of immediate financial gain.

8.No player will pay for any service or product after the initial registration fee" she spelled out.

In addition, the Coordinator disclosed that two European trained coaches would take charge of the players' training while in the academy house to prepare them for the task ahead in their professional journey.

Scouted players, she noted would be subjected to four scouting stages including

1. the district scouting  2. regional scouting
