A Financier of the Tain New Patriotic Party, Afful Manu Benjamin has promised to give a cash award of GHc1000 to candidates from Nsawkaw R/C Junior High School (JHS) who will score aggregate 6-9 in the just-ended Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

"Let me assure you, nothing can be achieved on a silver platter, I urged all of you the learners, to take your studies seriously and should also inculcate a can-do spirit in you while waiting for your results", he expressed.

Mr Benjamin who is also a businessman and appropriator of Stars of Africa Montessori Academy made the promise whiles speaking as a special guest at the Graduation Ceremony held for the 2021 candidates of the school.

The Roman Catholic Junior High School in Nsawkaw, in the Tain District of Bono Region, has held its graduation ceremony for the 2021 BECE candidates.

He noted that the learners with special talent should choose Technical and vocation Education so that in the future they can create their own jobs in other not to become a burden on the government.

"Don't let the voice of other opinions dwell out your own inner voices and avoid things that will reduce and make you trivial in the eyes of the citizens", he stressed.

On his part, the Headteacher of the school, Mr Sylvester Addo said the school has increased its enrollment, academic performance and programs that are enhancing the progress of learning in the school.

The Headmaster, on behalf of PTA and the SMC of the school, thanked Mr Afful Benjamin for honouring their invitation.
