Chelsea will miss out on the signing of Kai Havertz as Bayern Munich have been tagged as favorites of the 21-year old.

The German footballer has been outstanding for Bayern Leverkusen this season scoring five times in six games since the return of the Bundesliga. He has been strongly linked to Old Trafford ahead of next season as Frank Lampard prepares his team ahead of next year.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the German have emerged as favorites to win the race for Bayer Havertz, ruling out a possible move to the Premier League.

Bayern are also hoping to sign Manchester City’s Leroy Sane to partner the 21-year-old.

Havertz has overall scored 15 goals and recorded eight assists for Leverkusen.
